The Kuber Manager Showcase returned with a bang in 2020 boasting a new venue and featuring new managers in the line up.
Farmers & Fletchers one of the City of London famous Livery Halls provided an ideal venue for the Showcase.
The Showcase provided the perfect opportunity for Kuber to introduce James Ramsay its new managing director who took the opportunity to remind advisers present the importance of sound financial planning in the mitigation of the downside of clients’ tax efficient portfolios. James also took the opportunity to remind the Managers of their part to play too in managing client portfolio downside, with shrewd selection, comprehensive due diligence, sector experience and the support they offer their investee companies,. It was also noted that it was crucial that the Adviser builds in an appropriate level of Manager diversification too. Wise words in the lead up to tax year end.
James D’Mello, Kuber’s National Account Manager compered the evening and introduced the participating managers who individually provided a 7 minute pitch. The pitches were followed by an extremely informative Question and Answer session amongst the managers and advisers.
The evening concluded with an open networking session giving advisers the opportunity to continue their questions with the managers as they all enjoyed a glass of wine.
Strong feedback was received from Advisers and Managers alike – the fifth Kuber Manager showcase proving to be another success.
