Kuber the pioneering alternative fund investment platform offering access to EIS, SEIS & BR portfolios and funds is delighted to announce the appointment of James Ramsay as MD alongside Andrew Kartashov.

James’s primary focus will be the development of the Kuber proposition in order to better exploit Kuber’s existing strategic Adviser and Manager partnerships/relationships and add to them.

Ex Coutts, Ingenious and Puma and including a stint as an IFA at Strabens Hall, James is all too familiar with the complexities and issues often involved with promoting, recommending, administering and reporting on tax efficient investments.

Andrew Kartashov MD said “James joining the Kuber team is fantastic. James brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and genuinely understands the issues and challenges within the Tax Efficient market place from the perspective of advisers, managers and investors.

James commented “the Tax Efficient market has been in flux since the Patient Capital Review. The refocusing into growth investments has presented challenges for Advisers and Managers, however the market is coming through those changes more robust than it was before. The market has never had a better alignment of interest between Managers, Advisers, Investors and the tax payer. Kuber now has the vision, infrastructure and people to bring together outstanding Managers and sophisticated Advisers; to help deliver a comprehensive investment and service proposition to suitable Investors – all supporting exciting home grown businesses and, by extension the UK economy.

James’s arrival will also allow Andrew to further focus on the continued refinement and development of the Kuber Investment Portal, KuberView+.

This move comes at a time when Kuber enters a new phase of development and growth. Kuber is building on its unparalleled experience through the tax efficient investment life cycle and boasts a level of data and technology expertise relevant to a broad audience including funds, advisers, custodians and investors.
