EIS industry’s first platform hires Debbie Mahanta to head new business

London, 10th December 2012: Kuber Ventures, the industry’s newly launched first full service multi-manager platform for EIS portfolios, has announced it has brought Debbie Mahanta on board as Business Development Director. The firm, which is predicted to transform the EIS industry the way fund platforms changed the traditional fund market a decade ago, targeted Debbie for her award winning wealth management experience.

Debbie, who has worked for St James’s Place, UBS and Goldman Sachs, and has experience in both international and domestic markets, joins managing partners, John Williams and Dermot Campbell in the early stages of the firm’s existence. Together, the embryonic Kuber team has over 60 years’ experience in the wealth management advisory market and as such, has an implicit understanding of the needs and requirements of advisers. This knowledge led to the development of the Kuber platform, which was built in response to the demands of the EIS industry.

Dermot Campbell, Managing Partner at Kuber Ventures praised Debbie’s career to date saying:

“Having Debbie on board is pivotal in the growth and development of Kuber Ventures and her wealth management experience across a range of major financial institutions makes her an invaluable addition to the team. Together, we are a hundred per cent committed to promoting EIS investment to a wider audience and helping clarify much of the confusion around EIS in the market. Debbie will be fundamental in educating the market on EIS”.

Debbie Mahanta, Business Development Director, Kuber Ventures commented:

“Joining Kuber at this stage in the firms’ development is really exciting. The platform is such a revolutionary concept for the EIS market and as an industry, we are about to witness a massive change – the platform will open up EIS investment to a far wider audience and make it much more accessible. Helping to drive the business forward with John and Dermot will be a fantastic challenge and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”
